There are several sources of content that you can use on the wards to engage people.
1. Spotify is currently running a 3 month special for .99p per month. This is an amazing opportunity to test the site and its suitability. Spotify has an enormous catalogue of music, both modern and golden oldies, if you access to the internet. There is a free version of Spotify that will play advertisements to your listeners which is not ideal. The paid subscription costs less than £10 a month, you can build your own play lists, or have playlists for specific locations depending on the age of the people you will be engaging.
2. You Tube is another great source of content, if you have wireless connection to the internet. It is possible to download this content using a You Tube Download App so that you can store the content on your PC or laptop, for instant retrieval if you do not have WiFi capabilities in your area. There are suitable quizzes that you can use, such as movie, general knowledge, TV series, and many other other types of content.
3. Sound Cloud has many relaxation scripts professionally recorded for your enjoyment. You can download them and store them on your computer or iPad if you are not able to access WiFi on the ward.
4. Content on this site is available for download or playing in your group session.
